“Hut Gully” is the view from the beach near Urquhart Bluff on the Great Ocean Road, looking towards Hut Gully to the east.
Looking into the sun with the sea spray filling the air, and the silvery reflections on the waters surface the painting captures the unique atmosphere of a pounding swell on the coastline. A seascape with a unique pallet, almost abstract, although still highly convincing as a complete painting.
