A more complete study for upcoming small works shows. 19 x 19cm Ink on wood.

A study, for a study – testing the water (oil). I haven’t painted with oils for more than 10 years, it’s feels good to be back, and working on wood is bringing a new freshness to the whole exercise.

Building ply wood surfaces to work on, an interesting break from canva and also nice to get my hands dirty with something other than paint. Repetition can be meditative.
